Burrell Behavioral Health welcomes Kristen Weaver as the new Executive Director of the Burrell Foundation. Kristen will lead strategy and operations, elevate philanthropy and promote community development across all geographic regions of the Brightli system to support increased awareness of, and access to, mental and behavioral health programs and services.

She has developed a reputation as a highly effective strategist, cross-functional collaborator, community builder, and leader of high-profile capacity-building initiatives that transform organizations to better meet the needs of marginalized populations.
The Burrell Foundation serves as the system's charitable arm and helps to fulfill unmet mental health needs within the system and across surrounding communities. The Foundation’s mission is “to support the advancement of behavioral health and inspire hope in our communities through connection, advocacy and philanthropy.”
